Our founder, Siyona Bordia was invited to attend the Summit of the Future Youth Action Days 20-21 Sep, 2024, convened by the Secretary General of the United Nations at UN Headquarters in New York City. Siyona met with several stakeholders from public and private sector organizations, academia and youth communities and discussed the vision and initiatives of RightfullyHers. In her words, “I am very excited to see the tremendous potential of local and global collaboration to achieve our SDGs of gender equality and quality healthcare and education globally. I met several people that share the common goal of Rightfullyhers and we discussed learning from each other’s experiences and working together”.

Siyona was also invited as one of the top 5 finalists at the 2024 Learning Planet Youth Design Challenge to share her work with RightfullyHers and its impact. This event was chaired by UNESCO Assistant Director-General of Education, Stefania Giannini and Francois Taddei, Founder and President of the Learning Planet Institute and attended by youth delegates from all over the world. Several innovative and transformational ideas were shared and the 2025 Learning Plant Youth Design Challenge was launched.
